OK, good, at least you have it working ONE WAY, now. One step at a time!

Once I turned off Wifi and went to data, I can not connect.

As expected.

You have two choices for connecting away from your WiFi: using the ISY portal, or via VPN. With ISY portal, there apparently are some limitations.

For VPN, I use OpenVPN on my Asus router running AsusWRT-Merlin firmware, and OpenVPN Connect app on iPhone. I would imagine they have OpenVPN Connect for Android as well.

Besides giving you access to your ISY, you would have access to your entire home network. As well, you have the option of having your Internet traffic from your phone routed through your home connection, so that your connection is safe on public WiFi.

An additional option, as well (which won't help get to your ISY) is to use PrivateTunnel (or other VPN service) for secure mobile Internet access. This is good if your home Internet connection has limited outbound bandwidth. Mine has enough, but I do have a PrivateTunnel account. I've occasionally used it to pop out in London and watch video on demand with BBC iPlayer. (shhhhh!!!)

In any case, a VPN service provider won't help get into your home network - you need VPN software running on your router or always-on PC (which still needs some router configuration!) to VPN into your home network.

If you have an ASUS router, OpenVPN is a pretty painless way to go. I had a heck of a time getting a traditional IPSec VPN working, and switched to OpenVPN.  See if your router supports OpenVPN.

I'll try it the ISY Portal way tomorrow. I let my Mobilinc Connect subscription lapse, and, frankly, I don't use Mobilinc Pro any more. I hadn't realized that it was just the Connect subscription that was expired, so I guess I still can use Mobilinc Pro, just not with Connect. (Which I can't use in any case, since I have ISY Portal.) Was a bit surprised, then, to have just opened Mobilinc Pro on my iphone and to see my new ISY configuration. (I recently moved.)

I noticed your "not a typo" comment.

Secure Port: 433 (not a typo)

Security through obscurity, or dyslexia? ;)

The standard HTTPS port is 443. Stu has changed his. Nothing wrong with that, but he might lead you down a garden path!

OK I finally figured out what was wrong. It turned out, I'm an idiot! Every time I would uninstall mobilinc and reinstall, it asked if I have an account which I do so I entered my username and password. What I must have been doing was telling mobilinc I want to connect to mobilinc connect. I Uninstalled reinstalled and skipped the login and it worked.

Thanks for the help everyone!
