Blackbird
I tried a program that when I turn on a light the elk will disarm but it didn't work. Is this possible?
KeviNH
Would you really want the ISY to be able to disarm the alarm? High risk, low reward. Looking at the Wiki, it should be possible, if you enable it in Elk, see also this thread.
Blackbird
I haven't setup monitoring yet and don't have the app so just wanted a temp way of disarming if I'm not at home
MWareman
You can disarm thru the API, with the code as a parameter. The Wiki documents the API calls needed (search the Wiki for API). You could create a network rule to call the API (use the real IP of ISY, NOT 127.0.0.1 - otherwise the ISY bay hang!) and then use that network rule in a program. However this will bypass the code security somewhat... Plug: My Android app does this thru the API.... Other phone based options, off the top of my head.... Agave should also be getting Elk support soon, that would be a future option. You could use Tasker to create a custom button to call the API. If you are on IOS, Mobilinc has an Elk module that enables it.

DennisC
If you just need to disarm/arm your Elk, MWareman's Home Alarm app is a perfect way of doing it.
