Posted October 28, 20168 yr I have a Hidden Door Sensor on a closet door and an Insteon LED Bulb in the closet. All of a sudden I noticed the light would stay on even when closing the door. I went into ISY and saw the Low Battery state was set to ON and Heartbeat State was off. I changed the battery and now the scene is working again. So I was thinking about creating an alert for low battery warnings, but I see that even with a fresh battery and the scene working again, the Low Battery State is still OM and the Heartbeat still OFF Is this just an ISY refresh issue? I purchased these batteries about a month ago with a 2020 expiration date so I don't think it is a low battery problem. Anyway, given these states aren't really working, I am not sure is a low battery alert would even work.
October 28, 20168 yr Author Well, I ended up upgrading my Firmware to 4.5.1 and after the reboot it was properly reporting. Not sure if that permanently resolves my problem or just hides it until my battery goes low again.
October 28, 20168 yr I installed nightly queries for all my MS units lowbatt and they show Off now. I am not sure it accomplishes anything though. The MS only reports lowBatt on days that don't end in 'y' Edited October 28, 20168 yr by larryllix
October 28, 20168 yr I am not sure it accomplishes anything though. The MS only reports lowBatt on days that don't end in 'y' That would include lunes, martes, miércoles, jueves, viernes, sábado and domingo and also lundi, mardi, mercredi, jeudi, vendredim samaedi, and dimanche.
