FanLinc 2475F Rev 1.9 Replace Hunter Fan Control?

I assumed I could replace the Hunter ceiling fan control shown in this picture with a FanLinc, and it worked fine for a few days but the fan started making a vibrating noise and stopped running while it was on low.  Now it does not work at all on Low, but Medium and High work fine.  Do you think it's a problem with the Fan or the FanLinc, which is a rev 1.9?   I'm going to swap in another FanLinc that was meant for another fan, but wanted to get some opinions first...

Does this mean Funk agrees with rafarataneneces?

No! He's wrong too many times. And I've put him on ignore so I don't see any of his posts.

I agree with Don Chick in Arkansas who is a technician and has verified this a long long time ago.

I have heard that they will. Otherwise just tell them they have failed.

I have had 2 replaced by Smarthome. When the 2nd one failed, I replaced my Hunter fan with another brand and have had no issues.

Oh Crap, that is not good news. The one that failed worked fine for 6 months, but died one week after replacing the fan with a hunter. I have 5 more of these Hunter fans, one installed tonight with a fanlinc :-(

A word of encouragement: my FanLinc works fine on a Hunter fan.

+5 on Hunter fans. I have five Hunter fans with a FanLinc in each. Three of them came with remotes and two were pull switches.
