jongig Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 I have a ISY994Ir and I'm trying to link a ApplianceLinc but the address sticker must have fallen off the ApplianceLinc. Is there any way to connect this to the ISY?

Is there any way to connect this to the ISY?Not having tried this I will tell you what I understand works. Side link the ApplianceLinc to another say...switchLinc. Run admin consle and display the event viewer, level 3 Activate the switchlinc to send a code to the ApplianceLinc. Look for the Insteon traffic codes with the addresses contained in it and try it. If it links then write it on the AppLinc.
Brian H Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 Just use the Link Management New Device. Start Linking choice. Push the Set Button on the Appliancelinc until it is discovered. Then hit the finish button on the start linking screen. It should be added to the ISY994i setup. Larry's method also works. I had to go that route with a Controllinc Smarthome pulled the labels off and sold it as an X10 controller but didn't change the firmware.
G W Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 You guys do things the hard way. Let the ISY do the work. I'm Gary Funk and I approved this message.
