ISY994i ZW cannot include Honeywell zWave t-stat

I am automating a clubhouse; I have done several homes of my own but this is a bigger animal.

All good so far hooking up Insteon modules, switches, even a 200v load controller to operate the waterfall.

My plan includes door locks and thermostats(8) so zWave is a requirement.

Installed a Honeywell YTH8320ZW1007/U t-stat but could not get it included in zWave network.

Location of the t-stat was selected as out-of-the-way, but it is the furthest from the ISY994i (about 50').

Assuming I can indeed include all 8 t-stats, I understand the more devices, they better the

performance as zWave devices also act as repeaters.  I need to confirm this works before ordering

the remaining 7 t-stats.  Any suggestions how to proceed?

On the chance it might help, I have ordered a Aeon Labs zWave repeater on Amazon.

Try excluding it first, then including it. You are going into the settings and telling the thermostat to include right? This thermostat doesn't have an obvious "link" button.

Yes, the stat has programming code rf10, 0 to exclude, 1 to include.  It defaults to 0.

I try to increase the number to 1 and it starts trying to include.  I'll try to figure out

how to do an explicit exclude.  Thanks.

RESOLVED:  I factory reset the zwave dongle and updated the zwave firmware on the ISY9941 ZW PRO and voila, the t-stat

was enrolled.
