saclarkdoc Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 My ISY-994i has been running perfectly for several years. Yesterday a red exclamation mark suddenly appeared before the top level ISY under NETWORK in the MAIN tab with the error message "SOCKET OPEN FAILED JAVA.NET. SOCKET EXCEPTION: NETWORK IS UNREACHABLE," Try as I may, I could not eliminate that error, so I did a Factory Reset on my ISY-994i. Now whenever I try to restore one of my MANY backups, I receive the following message: UPGRADE FAILED (REPORTED WRITTEN SIZE IS INVALID). Any suggestions??
Brian H Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 If it is over two years in use. The famous PLM failure may have happened. If you can get into the Administrative Console. Tools Tab Diagnostics. What does the PLM Info/Status show? Online or Safe Mode?
saclarkdoc Posted December 23, 2016 Author Posted December 23, 2016 The PLM Info/Status is : 39.0.86 v9E / Connected
Michel Kohanim Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 Hi saclarkdoc, Assuming you are on 4.5.4, only two issues can contribute to what you are seeing: 1. Firewall on your computer: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Configure_Firewall_Software 2. Corrupted SD Card I would start with #1 first. And, you are always welcome to submit a ticket. With kind regards, Michel
