George M Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 Just now trying to test out this program. Installed fine on my tablet but wont work on my phone. Specs: Galaxy 7 running v6.0.1 It installs fine but wont accept the login info. I made sure that contact and disk usage permisions were on. I get this: "Login failed. Check login information and try again." Same login info used on my tablet. I am positive it is correct. Any Ideas? Looks like a great program. George M

George M Are you going direct to ISY, or using ISY Portal? If direct, are you using HTTPS or HTTP? If using HTTPS - what is your ISY model (99i or 994i), and what firmware version?

Don,t know the exact number.
MWareman Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 OK, thanks That eliminates a lot of possible SSL related possibilities. I'll have to let James offer ideas.... Plain HTTP without any SSL, VPN etc should be relatively straightforward.

DennisC Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 Are you using the default http port of 80 for the ISY?
George M Posted December 24, 2016 Author Posted December 24, 2016 Are you using the default http port of 80 for the ISY? Yes, and again, my tablet connects fine with same setup.
DennisC Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 Afraid I can't offer anything else to try and help you. I will say one thing from my own experiences however, when I get in a situation like this, it usually ends up being my eyes. By that I mean I looked at the screen so many times I just missed what was wrong. If you don't mind another suggestion, delete all the login info and start over (you might need to delete program and reinstall it). You could even try having another person enter the information you tell them to enter. Pay specific attention to what James said above about blank spaces - I was tripped up by a blank space at the end of login info before. Dennis
James Peterson Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 If whitespace begins to be an issue I'll add some sanitation for cleaning. Another issue could be how you are connected to the internet. How is your tablet connected? Wi-Fi? Is you phone connected over wifi? Is your phone connection via data over a VPN connection? Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk Both the tablet and the phone connect via WiFi - no vpn. My sons phone (identical Galaxy 7) also connected just fine. Seems like it has to be something on my phone, but dont know what or how to trace it down.
