Alexa, turn ON reading.

Ok. (Nothing happens)

Repeat x 2, finally scene executes.

This happens on several devices/scenes.

I used to think that Alexa was confusing on and off, but this happens on my "all off scenes" (where the scene being turned on sets all levels to zero).

Anyone else experiencing something like this? The only culprit I can think of is the PLM.

I have experienced this with a scene controlling a single device (LampLinc); it does not happen all the time, so I considered this an Insteon communication issue

I too have this bug from time to time. Seems to be just Insteon devices. Most likely power line noise.

I've had Echo glitches, but controlling the scene manually or via the Admin Console never fails. That leads me to conclude that the problem is either the Echo or the Skill.

I find Alexa lies.

At times he will say OK and never do anything.

At times she will say, "I have found several devices with that name". That's also a lie, meaning she didn't parse the device properly, and gives random error mesages instead of, "I didn't understand" repeatedly.

Some words are too hard to parse due to certain sounds, sounding like key phrase words.

I was using a variable setting vocalised as "Speed" and Alexa asked me everytime which device I wanted and every....I repeat...every time would do as I asked on the second try. That is something wrong in the algorythm to do that without fail and repeatable over 50-60 times.

I have since changed it to "rate"
