More Simple even log

I'm not technical enough to really understand the event logs and it's a bit of trouble looking up deivce addresses to see what you're looking at. I'd like to request in addition a more simple log for us less technically inclined that could be left on all the time. One that would just list the device name and time it went on or off. Like

 

 

 

1/2/2017 2:30p Kitchen Light on

1/2/2017 3:45p Kitchen Light off

1/2/2017 5:50p Garage Light on

 

etc

The log I get doesn't list device addresses, it lists the name of the device just as you requested. The log also shows the day in addition to date. And also the brightness level and what caused the result. What's the technical part that you don't get?

The portal log only shows addresses.

I am guessing the OP is referencing the level 3 event logs and not the actual: Error / Event Logs which can be downloaded.

Yes that's the log I know of. There is just ton's of communication data, hops, addresses. Is there a more simple log that I'm not aware of ?

In the *Tools* you can down load a copy of the error and event logs. Ensure you use Note Pad + / Excel to view the document properly.

Thanks, that's what I would like. But I would like to request that it just comes up on-screen rather than have to download it. Or perhaps I can open it on screen via my Google Drive Sheets.
