edgar
I have been using the ISY for a couple of weeks and keep getting the led Error blinking; twice in the last couple of days. The users guide says "A blinking ERR LED indicates a file system error. Please power off the ISY and try to re-seat the SD card. If that does not help, the SD card may be defective." I don't seem to have an SD card; plugging & unplugging solves the problem. Am I supposed to have an SD card? Link to comment
stusviews
All ISYs have an SD card. Look here: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:Replacing/Formatting_an_SD_Card Link to comment
Brian H
The later ISY99i models and all the ISY994i models have a SD card slot on the front. Where you pop off a small cover on the front panel to access it The original ISY99i you have to take the top cover off. As the link Stu provided shows. Been awhile since I change my ISY99i SD card for a larger capacity one. Mine was an older cover model. Where I had to take the cover off. My ISY99i had a SD card sized socket and mine was a SD Card. I believe some ISY99i units had a micro SD card in a micro SD to SD card adapter. In the SD card socket. My ISY994i has a micro SD card. Link to comment
Michel Kohanim
HI edgar, It might be error and mem lights simultaneously in which case it might be network related: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Front_Panel_LEDs.2FLights With kind regards, Michel Link to comment
edgar
Thanks for the information. I was able to see the card with the help of a magnifying glass. It looks like a a micro SD card. Thanks again. Link to comment
