keribi
I think I have had this problem for a while but just have not been using remote access to my ISY994. When trying to login to the ISY remotely i get the errors in the pics attached to this post. I checked the port for the ISY and it is open. When I go to the dashboard and look at CA certificates there is none listed (see attached pic). Can you guide me to a post that explains the process for installing a cert? Do I need a self signed? I am a bit confused on this. Remote access did function so what happened to the cert? Do they expire? Thanks! Link to comment
giesen
Your ISY is presenting a self-signed certificate. If you want the error to go away, you can add it to your browser's trusted certificate store, or you can just continue to get the error and proceed anyways. keribi
The browser on my desktop and mobile browser will NOT let me continue to the ISY! ( Error msg attached). Do not really want to globally reduce my browser security to allow the ISY. Any other way to fix? Link to comment
giesen
Which ISY do you have and which version of code is it running? Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk Link to comment
Michel Kohanim
Hi keribi, You can install a new self signed cert through the dashboard: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Network_Security You will need to do that for HTTPS Server. With kind regards, Michel Link to comment
keribi
Thanks for the help. Firefox and Mobilinc are now connecting to the ISY remotely. Cant get Microsoft edge browser to connect, there is no setting for exceptions in edge! Link to comment
Michel Kohanim
Hi keribi, What are your settings for Key Length, TLS (1.0, 1.1, 1.2), and Strength for HTTPS Server? With kind regards, Michel Link to comment

Michel Kohanim
Hi keribi, 512 is no longer supported by any sane browser. So, please use at least 1024. With kind regards, Michel Link to comment
Bernardo
I've been experienced come problems with mobilinc (through https) since the new 4.12v of it, When I'm outside the lan, there's no connection with Isy, even though I can see it online on browser, but Last time I had this error it just start connecting without me making any change, (that was about a month ago) and now I have the same problem, I think it is something with the certificates of the logging. Does anybody is experience the same issues? or know how to solve it? Thanks in advance Link to comment
Michel Kohanim
Hi Bernardo, Do you have MobiLinc Connect? With kind regards, Michel Link to comment
gweempose
If you have Android, I'd highly recommend Agave in conjunction with the ISY Portal. The app is great and is being actively developed, and the Portal will eliminate the need to open up ports in your firewall. Link to comment
