z wave dongle not responding.

I recently installed the z wave dongle and software. The installation went very smooth and quickly added a couple of devices. That has been a couple of weeks ago.

Today i added a GE switch with motion sensor. installation went fine. I later deleted the switch from the ISY and spent a while working on programming.

I'm trying to add a few new devices and now under the z wave drop down box i get (z wave dongle not responding)

Powered down the ISY and still no luck.

Before i make matters worse trying to fix it i had better ask for advice.

Help!

In response to my own post. For those that it may help in the future.

I unplugged power and took the dongle out, reset it into the main board and powered up again.

Working properly at this time.

Did you delete the Z-Wave device as you would would delete any other device (wrong) or did you click on Z-Wave, Remove/Exclude a Z-Wave Device (correct)?

It was actually a GE z wave hinge pin that i added. When i tried to remove/exclude it, the ISY would not pick it up. So i deleted it like i would have an Insteon device.

I have added it again to see if it would work properly and it does not report changes in status. Now i can't get it to Remove/Exclude again. I suppose its just not supported?

model zw6301  GE

If I delete it like before will i have the same problem?
