RLIKWARTZ Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Has wild card dates on date ranges been addressed?
larryllix Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 No. Has wild card dates on date ranges been addressed? UDI has been concentrating their ISY efforts on making a release for V5. However, Creating a variable with MM.DD in v5 is quite easily done and can serve the purpose.
mwester Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 Once v5 is released, and once we get the enhancement to permit the ISY to exchange text strings with a node server, it would be pretty easy to create a date/time/calendar/event node server -- something that could read, for example, a text file or a wild-card date string, and simply send "ON" events when they happen. (But not for you, Larry - since I know you're allergic to Raspberry Pi (or similar) devices! )

I am using this one for my browser right now. Works well and almost as fast as my octacore desktop. I think NodeLink may already provide this as a pseudo device (requires a LAN(yard) computer). I was getting my real time variables from my WC8 but now I just use plain ole' V5.0.10 for year wildcard triggers....No LAN(yard) required. Horse's mouth comes to mind.
