November 22, 20178 yr Hi, Has anyone tried connecting an EZVIZ camera to Mobilinc? I've been looking for an outdoor POE camera that will work with Mobilinc and Echo Show and it's proven move difficult that I thought it would be. Thanks, TIm
November 24, 20178 yr Hi Tim, Do you know if that camera offers an RTSP interface for 3rd party software? The RTSP path looks something like: rtsp://ip-address/streaming/1 or similar. If you have this, or can find it in the manual or online setup software, please post it here or to support@mobilinc.com and I'll be happy to get that added into MobiLinc for you. Wes
November 25, 20178 yr Author Thanks Wes, I'll contact EZVIZ to find out, I can't find a manual online. Tim Update: EZVIZ does not support 3rd party software, they want you to use their app and cloud solution. Back to square one, has anyone found a camera that meets these criteria? 1. Outdoor 2. POE 3. Works with Echo Show 4. Works with MobiLinc Edited November 28, 20178 yr by tmorse305

It works great.
November 30, 20178 yr Author Thanks db2ace2, I actually purchased an Amcrest camera first. Everything worked great except with Echo Show. I contacted Amcrest support and they said that the camera did not work with Echo Show (yet). Is it working for you? When I tried Echo came back and said that the camera was not responding. Tim
December 2, 20178 yr Sorry I missed the part about echo show. I use all the other features but I do not have the show. I would think the problem is with the show and not the camera since the camera works for all other apps ok. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
December 4, 20178 yr Author Hi Wes, It turns out that the EZVIZ camera does if fact support RTSP. I guess it just depends on which person at Tech Support you ask. The reply I received was this: Thank you for contacting EZVIZ Tech Team. Regarding your request for more information, please follow the steps below to set the RTSP stream pathRTSP stream from VLC player1. Connect to the local network2. Open VLC media3. Open network stream4. input the device local IP address, device username and password in the format belowrtsp://admin:RUSXAP@192.168.3.106:554/H.264Where RUSXAP - is the verification code of the camera Is this the information you need to add EZVIZ to MobiLinc? Thanks again, Tim
December 5, 20178 yr Hi Tim, Yes! I will get this added tomorrow and report back how to get the update. Wes
December 5, 20178 yr Hi Tim, Open MobiLinc and edit or create a new camera. Select "Camera Type" Tap "Refresh" Verify Database version 283 or later is installed. Select EZVIZ from the Camera Type list. Enter in your camera's details into MobiLinc. So from the above example: Local IP: 192.168.3.106 (or your camera's IP address) Port: Leave blank RTSP Port: 554 username: admin password: RUSXAP (Where RUSXAP - is the verification code of the camera) The RTSP streaming setup page will use the /H.264 path to stream from the IP and port listed in settings. Wes
