Unlinking from ISY

Suppose an Remotelinc or a toggledimmer electrically fail, how do you then "unlink" it from the ISY?

Joe, right-click on the device and select Remove. Or, if you have a replacement, add that to the ISY, select the failed device, right-click and select Replace with new device.

OK, but if trying to unlink a Remotelinc for example, it will ask me to put the remotelinc into linking mode (which of course is impossible if lost or broken) so one would just ignore the request? The remove/unlinking would still occur?

Hello Joe,

 

Yes, the unlinking will continue and all the RL links are removed from all other devices (that the RL was linked to) + the PLM.
