I see the posts below yours suggesting a bad lock, but I do not have the option of returning mine. I am receiving the same error as above with the unrecognized command. Is there anything I can do to help? I have a second Kwikset 914, that is reporting properly.

With one of yours working and the other not working. I would assume either a bad module inside or poor Network in the area where that lock is. Before getting started, make sure you are on the latest isy firmware and UI. I would clear your java cache for good measure. To test, take the lock close to the isy, remove/exclude then re-add. If the functions still do not work then it's probably an issue with the lock. If they do, then you need to add repeaters to your system

I'm hoping there isn't some kind of firmware interoperability between the two. I'm currently running 5.0.16, and have the 4.55 Z-wave firmware. The lock is about 15 feet from the ISY, which is why I'm not too concerned about distance. I'll attempt the remove/exclude, and then re-add.

Certain modules may only work with certain model of lock. Depending on how old your lock it, that may be the case. I would reach out to kwikset to see which module would work with your particular lock.
Michel Kohanim Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 @Quasmo, I don't quite recall and that's why I always suggest submitting a ticket so that we have history. With kind regards, Michel
Quasmo Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 Removing, and re-adding did not work. Submitted a ticket.

gregkinney Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 I'm also having issues. Quasmo, is this what your screen looks like?

Judging by what I see, you're having communication issues with your system in general. Your lock wasn't added properly. Make sure your lock is within 3 feet of the isy when adding. Remove lock and re-add with it within 3 feet. Also make sure your firmware and UI are the same
gregkinney Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 Thank you. Communication is good, those are just things that I will use for troubleshooting or temporarily and when I don't use them, they get stored outside of range. I put my ISY on a 50ft extension cord and network cable so I could add the lock within 1ft of it. I did a double exclude, door lock factory reset, and another add. I've done that process twice with 3 different locks. Same looking screen every time. UI and firmware both on 5.0.13D. Must I upgrade?

Keep in mind if a device is part of the system and moved, this can effect messages being routed. I would upgrade. Your firmware is over a year old. Probably close to 2 years
gregkinney Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 Ok thanks I'll get the one in exclamation relocated in range and upgrade and try again.
gregkinney Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 Previously, I was bringing my ISY about 100ft to the door lock. This time, I brought the door lock to the ISY and added it without issue. I guess it had something to do with the Zwave network. Thanks for your help @lilyoyo1
