Need z-wave compatible thermostat recommendations

I'm zoning the upstairs of my house and it is on a heat pump system.  I've been using Insteon for quite a while and have an Insteon thermostat downstairs (which is a furnace system) which works well.  However, the Insteon heat pump thermostat has been discontinued.  If I want to integrate the new thermostats into my home automation, then I will have to use a z-wave device.  I was going to use the Trane XR524 as my current system is a Trane.  Are there any other devices I should consider?

 

I currently have an ISY994i but without z-wave support.  I remember seeing somewhere an add-on board that will provide z-wave access.  Is this the easiest way to upgrade?
