Motion Sensors are stuck in a loop

Featured Replies

Both of my motion sensors simultaneously started doing this - they go from On -> wait to time out -> Off -> a few seconds -> On -> repeat.

They are stuck in a loop somehow, but I can't figure out why. I tried swapping batteries but that didn't fix it.

Here's how they are configured:

Here's the log from one of them:

Are they pointing towards a ceiling fan or something? :-P

On a more serious note, I don't recall ever hearing of such a thing.  Certainly I have not experienced it.

That can happen with low batteries, too.

Do you have delayed writing to battery devices option turned on?

Have you put your MSes in Linking mode and wrote the updates to them. Mine took almost ten minutes each to dump the ISY cache into them.

Every MS motion sensed would cause a massive Insteon data storm for several minutes. After dumping the cache out, and disabling the delayed write option all is running fast again. I had lights responding 20-40 seconds later with direct scene control to the MSes..
