Nodelink can't see ISY anymore

I've no idea when this happened, but I am seeing these errors:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2018-02-05 02:52:44 - ISY NodeLink Server v0.9.4 started
2018-02-05 02:52:44 - Mono version: 3.2.8 (Debian 3.2.8+dfsg-10)
2018-02-05 02:52:48 - ISY Error: Login failure (verify ISY user/password on the system config page)
2018-02-05 02:52:48 - ISY Error: Login failure (verify ISY user/password on the system config page)
2018-02-05 02:53:18 - ISY Error: Login failure (verify ISY user/password on the system config page)
2018-02-05 02:53:48 - ISY Error: Login failure (verify ISY user/password on the system config page)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It goes on and on like that.

I can reenter the username and password and it seems to work in nodelink with my DSC alarm as it will show the dsc tab after I do this, but ISY still doesn't see anything change. This also only lasts for a minute and then goes back.

I'm using the repeater function in nodelink so I know it can see the changes from my alarm and that part is functioning.

I'm running 5.0.2 still.  I tried to upload the nodesetup.zip again and no change. I rebooted both the ISY and nodelink.

I tried to delete the node in ISY and remake it and now it shows all the nodes as light bulbs where it showed the red squiggly lines before. Also shows on/off rather than open/closed.

Any thoughts?

ISY v5.0.2?

Upgrade to v5.0.11c. I had the most problems of any version with ISY v5.0.2 beta!, especially with Node servers. They were developing a new interface between the two and it didn't work well IIRC.

My thoughts are that larryllix might be right.  Current ISY firmware that will allow you to run Nodelike is 5.0.11C, and the current version of Mono is 5.8.0.108.  I don't know that updating these will fix your problem, as I don't have your devices, but io_guy has published something like 65 releases of Nodelink since the 5.0.2 firmware release.  It's not unreasonable to think that backwards compatibility, either in Mono, Nodelink or the ISY could be broken through this long series of upgrades.  My experience with the more recent versions of ISY firmware is that they're a much better platform for running node servers.

Here's the note for the current Nodelink release.  Maybe the second item will have relevance to your devices?

Revision History:

v0.9.4 (2018-02-03)

- Made the auto-update settable to a certain time of day

- Added html input types to the various devices pages

- RainMachine: Moved comms over to https

Yeah I've been meaning to upgrade...just haven't taken the time to do so yet.

I guess I'll live without nodelink for a bit until I can find time to upgrade and hope that helps.

It will be missed though!

Ok I took the time this weekend and I got nodelink working again after upgrading to 5.0.11C.

Took a few reboots and adding the nodeserver again, but it now works again.
