Devices not responding?

Hi,

As of today, all my echos are saying "Sorry, xxx is not responding" when attempting to turn an ISY device on/off. The portal sees the ISY fine. I've tried rebooting the ISY, turning off and removing all of the ISY skills in the Alexa portal but this continues to happen. Is anyone else having this issue recently? Yesterday, everything was working and there were no changes on my end.

I'm getting the same thing too, but it all worked yesterday. Hopefully it's something temporary on the Echo end.

I'm glad you were able confirm. I can stop wasting time poking around now. Thanks!

It’s still not working here. Here is the message I am getting: “Sorry the device that X is connected to is not responding please check it’s network connection and power supply.”

Hello all,

Sincere apologies for the inconvenience. One of our servers died and we had to replace it. Everything is back to normal.

With kind regards,

Michel

Thanks Michel. However, it is still not working this morning here; do we need to do anything to kick start it?

Good thing I still have manual control to fall back on, and it really makes you appreciate the “magical” experience of voice control.

Hello giomania,

Please send your error log to support@universal-devices.com . Please include a screenshot of Help/About.

With kind regards,

Michel

Thanks for the reply, but a power-cycle of the ISY solved the problem.

Power cycle did not work for me. ISY shows offline in the portal since 4:48pm today! Are there portal problems again?
