March 17, 20187 yr I installed the new version this evening, and am running it on MacOS under mono. Upon starting the app, I am seeing the following error: Error starting web config server - The requested address is not valid in this context. I am unable to view or edit the configs. Any suggestions?
March 17, 20187 yr Google isn't telling me much, seems to point to a permissions issue (which kind of makes sense since there is one with Windows). Try running as root/admin (whatever it's called the apple world). What's your mono version?
March 17, 20187 yr Author I was running version 5.4.1.7, which was released sometime after last October 31st. So it's a bit old but not that old. I updated to a newer version of mono (5.10.0.160) but it throws the same error and more. 2018-03-16 23:58:13 - ISY NodeLink Server v0.9.11 started 2018-03-16 23:58:13 - Mono version: 5.10.0.160 (2017-12/f3ac8fdeb37 Tue Mar 6 14:07:30 EST 2018) 2018-03-16 23:58:14 - Error starting web config server - The requested address is not valid in this context 2018-03-16 23:58:14 - ISY resolved to XXX.XXX.X.X 2018-03-16 23:58:14 - ISY Error: Host is down (profiles/ns/0/connection) 2018-03-16 23:58:14 - ISY Error: Error getting Node Server list - Root element is missing. 2018-03-16 23:58:14 - ISY Node Server profile set to 1
March 17, 20187 yr Author I'm not quite sure if/how to run this with other permissions ... it's always run just fine without. Will have to do some research to figure out what other options there are.
March 17, 20187 yr You're also getting an error connecting to the ISY (host is down). Wouldn't expect that to have changed if it was working on 0.9.10, no change to that code.
March 17, 20187 yr Author I believe that second error came about after the ISY was updated. Not sure what's happened here ... looks like I'm going to have to wipe out and restore a few things.
March 17, 20187 yr I have had the "Root element is missing." complaint a few times with ISY 5.0.12 and NodeLink v0.9.10. It seems to be random though, as the next reboot of NodeLink goes fine without a hitch and no errors for days. There may be some random factor on boot up, not tied down yet. Apparently lots of ISY node protocol has changed lately.
March 17, 20187 yr The root element is secondary. He can't connect to the isy so it doesn't return data to decode.
March 17, 20187 yr Author I restored the ISY but am still seeing the original reported error. The app seems to be working and communicating to the ISY, as I am seeing readings from my thermostats, but I cannot view or configure Nodelink via the web interface. 2018-03-17 09:39:10 - ISY NodeLink Server v0.9.11 started 2018-03-17 09:39:10 - Mono version: 5.10.0.160 (2017-12/f3ac8fdeb37 Tue Mar 6 14:07:30 EST 2018) 2018-03-17 09:39:11 - Error starting web config server - The requested address is not valid in this context 2018-03-17 09:39:11 - ISY resolved to xxx.xxx.x.x 2018-03-17 09:39:11 - ISY Node Server config detected (profile 1) 2018-03-17 09:39:12 - DSC: Repeater started on port 2402 [dsc1] 2018-03-17 09:39:12 - Relay Server: Started on port 2405
