I see it is possible to read (get) a node's Notes information using the REST interface, but is it possible to write (Set) the Notes property from an external program ?

Welcome to the forums!

You would still use "Get".

This is not an information direction but rather a Ethernet protocol specification where all the information is carried in the URL.

I don’t believe so. You can set the notes field using the SOAP interface though.

    Chrome (Android)

    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
