Hi all,

i reset my device and now ISY Finder is Blank. I have tried the following with no luck?

Clear Java Cache

Run Admin.jnlp, blank

Run dashboard.jnlp, blank

reset ISY again, same results.

change ethernet port on router, try all again, blank

tried to add url from a screenshot when it was running, didn't work

system has been up for four years and have had no problems until now, have a recent backup.

this all started when I changed from Static DHCP to Dynamic.

Hope someone in the community can help,

Oscar

Have you tried entering the ISY IP address in the ISY Finder manually and then have it search for your ISY?

Tried the old url, but after a reset what is the default IP address?

Thanks,

You should be able to log into your router and find the ISY IP address in the connected devices area of your router.

By default, it uses dhcp to get an IP from your router.

Most of us do static IP reservations to prevent this kind of issue...

Ok, I went to a different computer and installed java, downloaded the admin.jnlp. It worked, restored the backup and all is well, mostly Went back to primary laptop uninstalled Java, removed folders, reinstalled Java, re booted, downloaded admin.jnlp and it still doesn't see the ISY, and needless to say it won't run the dashboard from the browser. Only difference is laptop is wireless and the one that works is wired, they both are connected to the same network... Are they using different gateways?

Oh, well, don't look a gift horse in the mouth,

Oscar
