paulbates Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 I'm pretty much settled in to the new Invision Forum. However, its "tabletized" layout is one thing I continue to struggle with; the amount of screen space for scrolling through content, while still seeing some thread content in expanded view. This is made worse sometimes by repeated back-to-back posts on single treads that I'm not interested in reading; other things I might want to read get "buried" by this. I'm sure others don't want read threads that I might be active in. The ISY supports a variety of subject areas and not all are of interest to everyone. I've tried numerous Invision options, streams and views, they don't help the underlying cause; hiding long (read or unread) trails from posts that I don't want to see. My request is to consider installing the $15 Ignore Topics plugin. Individually we each could better focus on what we want to on the forums; individual threads could be as active as they need to be while letting us choose which ones to dive in to. Paul
Mark H Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 That Plugin has been installed, and you will now notice a new button when reading any Topic, "Ignore this topic". Per the documentation for the Plugin, please note: Quote Ignored topics won't appear in Activity Streams or search results. Members can manage their ignored topics on Accounts Settings. Account Settings can be accessed by clicking your name in the upper right of the screen and choosing that menu item. On the next page, left side, will be the settings for you to manage. You may wish to read the full set of features by following the link which paulbates posted above.
