taskman Posted April 20, 2009 Share Posted April 20, 2009 Hi, The motion sensor seems to always have consistency issues. Works, then doesn't work. Using 2 of the 2420's , 1 on each job and it appears to be problems on both. Initially it will work for a day or so, then just stops. Any suggestions? Here is a sample of the log file. 2009/04/19 21:43:29 : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 0E.37.88 00.00.01 C3 11 00 LTONRR (00) 2009/04/19 21:43:29 : [standard-Group][0E.37.88-->Group=1] Max Hops=3, Hops Left=0 2009/04/19 21:43:29 : [ E 37 88 1] DON 0 2009/04/19 21:43:29 : [ 8 52 24 1] ST 140 2009/04/19 21:43:29 : [ E 37 88 1] ST 140 2009/04/19 21:43:29 : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 0E.37.88 0F.45.28 41 11 01 LTONRR (01) 2009/04/19 21:43:29 : [standard-Cleanup][0E.37.88-->ISY/PLM Group=1] Max Hops=1, Hops Left=0 2009/04/19 21:43:30 : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 0E.37.88 0F.45.28 42 11 01 LTONRR (01) 2009/04/19 21:43:30 : [standard-Cleanup][0E.37.88-->ISY/PLM Group=1] Max Hops=2, Hops Left=0 2009/04/19 21:43:30 : Duplicate: ignored 2009/04/19 21:43:30 : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 0E.37.88 0F.45.28 42 11 01 LTONRR (01): Process Message: failed 2009/04/19 21:43:30 : [standard-Cleanup][0E.37.88-->ISY/PLM Group=1] Max Hops=2, Hops Left=0 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

taskman Posted April 21, 2009 Author Share Posted April 21, 2009 I will have to check that now, but meanwhile I tried to remove it (and there were 3 sensor dusk/dawn battery when I added it back it added 6 .1 through .6 Is this correct? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
taskman Posted April 21, 2009 Author Share Posted April 21, 2009 Yes, the set creates an On / Off.... I also just noticed that it says 2420 and not 2420M but it was working. I just deleted those 6 and now creating them under 2420M. I first tried to have it find the type but that did not work. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
taskman Posted April 21, 2009 Author Share Posted April 21, 2009 Hi, I added it again and the dropdown to 2420M is required to find it. Also, yes it still turns on/off with set button but I also noticed that the version in Ud say V.00 which is what happens when you select the added device from the dropdown instead of allowing it to find it which is why I tried to have it find it - no luck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
MikeB Posted April 21, 2009 Share Posted April 21, 2009 You must choose the device type when adding a Motion Sensor. Please see the Wiki article here: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... ion_Sensor Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
taskman Posted April 21, 2009 Author Share Posted April 21, 2009 Hi, Yes I read that but when the Version did not show up I figured it would be like the others. Also, the battery will be blank until it is low then will report an On Is that correct? Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Michel Kohanim Posted April 21, 2009 Share Posted April 21, 2009 Hello taskman, Yes, the battery status will be blank unless the battery is actually low. I still haven't figured out whether or not MS will send a full battery signal when the battery is replaced. With kind regards, Michel Hi, Yes I read that but when the Version did not show up I figured it would be like the others. Also, the battery will be blank until it is low then will report an On Is that correct? Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
