birdman Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 For the past several years I have been accessing my ISY through Safari, navigating to the correct IP address. I then get the Java applet running and that takes me to my Admin Console and I can program my lights. The past couple of days, I have been receiving a message in Safari when I try and access the Admin Console that it is an unsupported plugin. I then tried Chrome, and I get a message that Java 2+ is required and I cant get that working either. I used to be able to access my Admin Console through the ISY Launcher that I placed on my desktop, but when I do that, I keep getting an error message that says ISY Finder: Not Found. I try to "Add" it but when I enter the URL, it keeps saying invalid URL. I am stuck not being able to access the Admin Console to change the programming. Any help or assistance would be welcome
paulbates Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Hi This symptom can be because the network has changed. Did you recently switch internet providers, and/or upgrade your internet router in your home? Paul
paulbates Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 If you know how to use ping on your computer, can you ping the address you believe the ISY to be at and see if it responds?
ppitkin Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 The quickest way I have found to solve this is to switch back to using the old MS internet explorer. All the "modern" browsers seem to have problems with starting Java.
