Posted October 17, 20187 yr I did a search tonight on Chamberlain "MyQ" and got a few hits, but not really what I was looking for. I have a fairly good setup of ISY/Insteon. I just bout the Chamberlain MyQ and it works perfect. My question is... Is there a way to have the MyQ talk to ISY and maybe make a variable or affect the outcome of a program. I'd like to see the MyQ show a positive response to ISY that both doors are closed, then tie it into a program I have that shows both main pedestrian doors (Schlage locks) are locked and then have it turn on a KPL light. I currently have the Schlage and KPL working (albeit sometimes it misses the state). Thanks.
October 17, 20187 yr You have to use the MyQ Nodeserver with Polyglot and v5 fw. Otherwise theres no other options at this time.
October 17, 20187 yr Author Could you elaborate on this product and where I might research it and see what I need?

October 18, 20187 yr WAY WAY out of my pay grade. Thanks anyway. Before I installed the polyglot solution on my Chamberlain opener, I installed a GoControl/Linear GD00Z-4 Z-Wave Garage Door Opener Remote Controller . It doesn't control the garage door but does report the status of the garage door to the ISY and you can then use that status in your programs. It works well for me.Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

That said if you want to trigger scenes or programs on status thats a way to go. No control of the door but don’t most cars have HomeLink buttons in the rear view mirror head visor?
December 19, 20186 yr you can also use a combination of IFTTT and Isy Portal to integrate MyQ to Isy. Its worked pretty well for me. Just setup variables for open/close status for each door and use ifttt to set those variables with webhooks. That gives you door status. You can use network resources with rest put commands to run open/close commands through ifttt and back into MyQ.
