NodeLink v0.9.25-6 / ecobee missing vacation field

After upgrading to V0.9.25 it seemed all my comm errors disappeared for over 9 days! This appears you have found some comm quirks there. Much appreciated.

Doing some research I have discovered that NodeLink does not send a Vacation field, nor is it included in the controls (no field to operate) to enable/disable.
I have been writing HVAC ISY programs, based on whether I am away/home in the 'climate type' field. Turns out, that field does not even reflect the vacation mode and there appears to be no status to report Vacation mode, at all. :(

Is there any data in the stream to include a Vacation mode field for the ecobee stats? It sure would be nice to have.

Setting  from & to vacation dates from ISY may  not be possible,  and not be useful because every setup would be custom date/times with non-repeatable usage data. This should probably best  done on the stat or WebApp page with popout  calendars etc...

Yea it's possible.  Won't be in the next release but should be able to add it after that.

Agreed that setting from ISY is useless (just program a hold).  There will have to be a bunch of code "smarts" in order to sort the events and determine whether it's current in vacation mode vs. a future date.

I wasn't thinking anybody would need to know upcoming 'vacation' events but just whether is was in 'vacation'  mode or not.
I would use it to turn off my HRV and humidifier (floor model) while I am on vacation. I don't need fresh air or humidity while the stat is set back to vacation temperatures. These would just be a waste of energy.

However, when I get close to home and return my stat to "Schedule", I  want the HRV to start venting out stale air as well as humidifying the home when the temperature rises again.

It's pretty weird to have an 'away' and also a 'vacation' mode on a stat. They made it complicated. :)

Thanks!!
