DennisC Posted January 6, 2019 Posted January 6, 2019 Hi io_guy, I am running Nodelink v0.9.27 along with ISY firmware & UI v5.0.14. Since around the beginning of the year (not exactly aware of when it started, as I hadn't signed in to Nodelink recently), I am receiving messages in the log as follows: 2019-01-06 10:56:15 - ISY Node Server config detected (profile 1) 2019-01-06 10:56:15 - ISY Warning: Duplicate node names exist on the ISY (Desk Lamp) 2019-01-06 10:56:16 - ISY Warning: Duplicate program names exist on the ISY (Indoor Temp Logging) 2019-01-06 10:56:16 - ISY Warning: Duplicate program names exist on the ISY (Driveway Alert) 2019-01-06 10:56:16 - ISY Warning: Duplicate program names exist on the ISY (Close Skylight) 2019-01-06 10:56:16 - ISY Warning: Duplicate program names exist on the ISY (Front Cam Patrol) 2019-01-06 10:56:16 - ISY Warning: Duplicate program names exist on the ISY (Test) I have manual checked ISY nodes & programs and have used the search function without finding duplicates. In addition, I see the following in RPI Nodeserver log: ISY Error: Input string was not in a correct format. (profiles/ns/0/connection) ISY Error: Error getting Node Server list - Root element is missing. I have rebooted ISY and RPI and still have the above messages. I'm not sure how to proceed, would you have any suggestions? Regards, Dennis
io_guy Posted January 8, 2019 Posted January 8, 2019 On vacation, will look when I'm back. PM me the contents of /rest/programs?subfolders=true
Toddimus Posted January 8, 2019 Posted January 8, 2019 @DennisCJust an idea...Do you have any folders with those same names? If the program and folder are the same name, it might trigger the error. I think that was the issue when I first saw those lines in the log. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Apparently, Nodelink is comparing folder, programs, and Node names when issuing the error. The Node duplicate was because of a scene name. Thanks for the suggestion. Dennis

gzahar Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 I have been getting that error due to having a scene and device with the same name. I just ignored it knowing they weren't really duplicates, but is that something I should avoid? I also have a number of duplicate node names (although different node addresses) that are due to the same activity/device names coming from 2 different harmony hubs (through Polyglot). Again; reason for concern? Thanks

Many remote apps have the same problem ignoring folders and multi-level structures.
