UI and Firmware numbers not same

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I'm not sure if this is an issue but I believe in the past I've had problems due to this.

(I'm not having any issues right now)

I don't see an update button for my ISY.

Is there a different place to update the UI?

If so, a point in that direction would be greatly appreciated.

The Firmware and UI should be the same version otherwise you could encounter issues.

Clear your Java cache including applications then install the ISY launcher from this link.

https://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/24381-isy-launcher/

The launcher will place a icon on your desktop,  detect your ISY firmware and automatically run the correct UI version

Hi Techman,

thanks for the fast reply.

I've done what you've suggested and it seems to be right.

But when I click the shortcut (or the start.jnlp file that downloaded) it opens up the ISY Launcher and just sits there.

I seem to have to click the UUID to then get a drop down menu and then click Admin Console.

Is this correct or should it be more streamlined like before?

(I used to click the jnlp file and the admin console opened)

You're doing it properly.  This is an improvement, as you're UI and firmware versions will always stay in sync.

Yes, this is how the ISY launcher works.
