aaron Posted May 29, 2009 Share Posted May 29, 2009 New user here. I setup my new ISY99 to turn a light module on and off with a IR remote. But it stops reconizing IR codes after working for about an hour. I unpluged it from the PLM and i started working again. But it stopped reconizing IR tonight and I can't get it to except any IR codes. The LED does not flash like it does when it excepts a IR code. I'm I missing a setting or something? oberkc Posted May 29, 2009 Share Posted May 29, 2009 I can't be a lot of help, but is it possible your remote batteries are getting low? Batteries in a remote can rebound a bit after not being used, but then quit after a couple of commands. Link to comment

So I don't think that is the problem. I didn't mentioned it before but I have 2.7.1 firmware on the ISY. Aaron Link to comment

aaron Posted May 30, 2009 Author Share Posted May 30, 2009 Michel, I think I found the problem. Some how the codes got changed on the assigned buttons on the remote. I changed them back to the ISY compatible codes and it is working fine now. So the ISY was never the problem. But thanks for the offer to look at it. Regards, Aaron Link to comment
