macjeff Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 I have three ecobee units each with about 5 or 6 sensors I started getting an Ecobee Get Error: Timeout (Ecobee1) I checked and Ecobee1 is an Ecobee v4 unit. The others are Ecobee v3 and not giving errors. But I can control it and all the info seems to be correct. Is it just communication? Or some problem with Ecobee4. It was going on for a couple weeks

It was going on for a couple weeks Ecobee has been taking their servers offline for updates or something on a very frequent basis for the last few months. I see it quite frequently in the middle of the night now. I increased my heartbeat monitoring up to about 60 minutes to allow some of this without bother and I still get them. At least they only last a few hours at a time now. NodeLink appears to just give up at times, and doesn't heal, if the outage goes on too long. Great stats. Poor manufacturer attitude.
macjeff Posted March 17, 2019 Author Posted March 17, 2019 now I just got the same thing from my honeywell alarm. I restarted nodelink and got these. Last one is the Honeywell total connect Just like Ecobee its working fine just a timeout. How would I adjust nodelink log level to ignore these errors? 2019-03-17 18:36:32 - Ecobee Get Error: Timeout [ecobee1]2019-03-17 18:42:43 - Ecobee Get Error: Timeout [ecobee1]2019-03-17 19:01:10 - Ecobee Get Error: Timeout [ecobee1]2019-03-17 19:04:41 - ISY Error: Timeout from the ISY (ns/1/nodes/n001_hwalrm1_part1/report/status/GV6/0/25) [5]
