Set Operating Flags

I would like to see the ability to set the operating flags, for other I2 devices than just the I/OLinc.

With the new operating flags included in most newer revision Insteon modules (I2), I would like to be able to control the following which I have been controlling already the hard way using a PLC:

Turning off local control on Lamplincs and AplianceLincs, Turning off the LED blinking or completely on Lamplincs, ApplianceLincs, and most other devices.

Some other, less important, stuff operating flags can control:

KeypadLinc Back light On or Off

Disable local programing.

Turning the new beepers on or off.

Resume Dim.

Setting Keypads to 6 or 8 button mode, though you would probably have to add other code or still remove and re-add them.

Thanks,

Nick

Hi Nick,

Sounds good .... I am going to add this to the list of our requirements and, the more information you provide, the less time it would take to have them implemented.

With kind regards,

Michel

What information would you like?

I believe the command tables from Smarthome (code.insteon.net) would be a good start point; That is what I have been using so far.

Thanks,

Nick
