Feature Request(?) - Connecting an Echo+ (with ZigBee support) to isy994i?

My apologies if this question has been asked, or this is the wrong sub-forum for posting...

I recently purchased what I thought was a great deal on a 4-pack of Sylvania Lightify full color bulbs, thinking that they would work with my existing Hue hub... apparently that's only true OUTSIDE of the USA, because the bulbs sold HERE use a slightly different ZigBee profile than the Hue hub supports.

Rather than send them back, I purchased a Samsung SmartThings hub, and although that allowed them to work, and integrate with Alexa, I have virtually no programmatic control of these lights.

So, my question is... has anyone found a way to create a Node Server that can link SmartThings to isy? Or better yet, if I could 'drop' the SmartThings Hub in favor of purchasing an Echo+ with the ZigBee hub built in, perhaps there can be a Node Server that can link to that?

Is this wishful thinking???

(Too bad the isy can't have BOTH Z-Wave and ZigBee inside... maybe the Polisy will have it?)

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

There's no way to link to the Amazon Echo Plus devices directly currently nor do I think there ever will be.

I have been working on a nodeserver that integrates the Hubitat Hub with the ISY.  This mirrors the devices from Hubitat to the ISY.  Device support is currently limited but the Sylvania Lightify bulbs should work.  The Hubitat hub is basically a "clone" of SmartThings but with more programming capabilities using Rule Machine for 'programs'.  There is a Hubitat app called HubConnect that also allows you to connect SmartThings to Hubitat as well.

Thank you for your reply... I'll order the Hubitat hub and see how that goes... I like the idea of local control...

Since the ONLY thing running from the SmartThings hub are these 4 little light bulbs, everything else is isy, I'd rather go your route and see if I can ditch the SmartThings...

Do you know if I can use this hub as a standby controller for the isy Z-Wave hierarchy?

Not as a standby Z-Wave controller no.  There really isn't such a thing as a fail-over like capability with Z-Wave controllers.  You can use the Hubitat hub as a remote z-wave controller as the devices will be visible to the ISY but it would be on it's own z-wave network as an independent controller.
