macrhino
I have an ISY running 5.0.15. WE had lightning strike our electricity pole outside and fried a Mikrotik router, both garage door openers, several smart switches, my solar inverter, and a host of other things. Strangely enough the ISY partially functions. I can not longer logon locally because I get an authentication error. My portal is able to logon and I can the limited control of the web interface via the portal. Can I change user passwords though the portal, any ideas what could be happening? Link to comment
jec6613
I have several theories as to what could be happening inside of the ISY, each quite unlikely. But I'm 99% certain you're filing an insurance claim, so throw the ISY onto that list and get a new one? Link to comment

macrhino
IS there any way to update passwords without the GUI? Link to comment
Michel Kohanim
@macrhino, Unfortunately not. But, you can reset to defaults: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:Resetting_Your_Userid/Password With kind regards, Michel Link to comment
