Venstar Thermostat 7 day programable or 1 day?

I'm considering a Venstar thermostat to add to my Insteon / ISY automation project. I'm trying to decide if I should spend the extra $ for a 7 day programmable. I have searched the Forum and found posts that lead me to belive that the 7 day is not needed if you have an ISY as the ISY will perform what ever programming you can dream. The only reason I found on the Forum in support of the 7 day is in the rare instance that the ISY fails you can then program the thermostat locally. I'm I missing any other reasons that a 7 day might be benefical in this application (with ISY?).

thanks -- by the way the ISY is awesome.

Something to consider:

If you think you'll want to measure the relative humidity using the Venstar humidity module you'll need the 7-Day...the humidity module is not compatible with the 1-Day.

Besides Humidity, the 7 day is compatible with multi-stage systems. Even if you do not have a multi-stage system, this may be a consideration for future-proofing. 2 days after installing my 2 t-stats I had my annual AC check-up. My AC guy tells me it is time for a new system, and that this will be the last summer with this unit. Now I am looking into multi-stage systems and of course I bought the 1 day which is not multi-stage compatible.

Thanks, that is the best reason yet that I have come across to spend the extra $.
