theedudenator
Every 8monts to a year I have a PLM failure.... 80% of my devices are zwave 20% are insteon I have ELK alarm with the module, I use ELK motion sensors to trigger ISY actions. I subscribe to ISY portal. Do I have options to get rid of the PLM? Link to comment

mwester
There are two firmwares for the ISY -- one will put the ISY into a "safe" (non-operational) mode when the PLM fails, the other does not -- both will work with z-wave and (if your PLM is working) with the Insteon devices. So, if you switch firmwares, you'll at least keep everything else running when the PLM fails (until you can switch those last few devices over to Z-wave or other technology). Link to comment
