sl1509 Posted October 3, 2019 Share Posted October 3, 2019 My isy portal went off-line several days ago. I have reset isy. I even unplugged it for several days. The cable from the router to isy is ok, lights are working. When I reset isy all the lights on the front panel flash on and off. It has been working great for several months. Any ideas? sl1509 Posted October 3, 2019 Author Share Posted October 3, 2019 After a week my Isy Portal came on. Now I can't get into the admin console. I searched all the help files on Wiki, and I performed all of the except the ping. What is the "hostname"? Link to comment
sl1509 Posted October 3, 2019 Author Share Posted October 3, 2019 I found the problem, isy's url changed from 192.168.0.4 to 192.168.0.3 I changed isy to the new url, and now I'm back up and running. I don't need answer, but why did the url change? Thanks for your help, Steve Link to comment
larryllix Posted October 3, 2019 Share Posted October 3, 2019 You need to fix your ISY to a static IP address on your LAN. This is best done by selecting "use DHCP" in your ISY and reserving a permanent IP address for ISY in your router IP reservation table. Link to comment
