Got this device recently... works fine with latest ISY Firmware 5.0.16

Nodes show up like this default (in my case was ZW 014)

The first Node ZW014 Energy Meter 1 monitors for both plugs. Not shown at the bottom because of my cropping, you can reset these values with a Reset button.

Nodes ZW 014.1 and ZW014.2 look similar but track for each individual plug so I won't bother screen shot those.

ZW 014 On-Off Power Switch will control both plugs on/off simultaneously.

ZW 014.1 On-Off Power Switch controls right plug

ZW 014.2 On-Off Power Switch controls left plug

Note that if you turn on either the ZW 014.1 On-Off Power Switch or ZW 014.2 On-Off Power Switch then the ZW 014 On-Off Power Switch also reports/turns on - even though both plugs may not be on. If you turn off both plugs then the ZW 014 On-Off Power Switch will turn off.

Power Management 1

This is where can use programs to respond to events. Here is what shows up when I select this node in a program.

Obviously some things to do with Battery are not applicable but I believe can monitor things like Over Load and Power Applied. Will have to test what ones actually work.

Finally there is a ZW 014.3 On-Off Power Switch which does not allow control but just reports back if USB device connected is drawing any power. I plugged in my BB8 Sphero Droid to test charging. After it is fully charged up the Power Switch toggles On/Off continuously (the manual mentions something in regards to this and recommends turning off a device while charging but no option with my Sphero). I am not sure what real world application this would provide having this feedback.

There are also parameters to change different settings eg. turn on/off the LED status - refer to the manual for more information about this.

So far is a very good device and you get two separate plug controls for price of one and it doesn't take up an entire outlet.

Looks like a very capable device. I wish there was functionality like this in a duplex outlet format (rather than plug-in)

Thanks for the write-up!

I've been curious as to why there are no duplex control z-wave outlets only single controlled outlets.  I'm guessing it's due to the size requirements?  Being z-wave devices are larger compared to other smart switches I would suspect the outlet would have the same size issues?

What would also be nice if they combined a dimmer and outlet in one unit like this.

Interesting.  Zooz is very open to ideas and suggestions.  E-Mail them.

I doubt that since insteon has one

Doubt what?  The size issue?  Z-Wave devices are huge compared to Insteon.... which may be a factor of why there aren't any z-wave duplex outlets.  Or?  Something else?

The size issue. They just show that it's possible to do

It may be possible.  Which leads me to wondering why nobody has released a Z-Wave dual control outlet.... curious...

EDIT:  !! OHHH... I think there's two discussions about two different things.  The ZEN25 is a plugin module not a in-wall receptacle.  We sorta derailed a little bit above from @MWareman bringing up the duplex receptacle.

Ok follow-up.

I have not really used this plug and since then I wanted to operate Xmas Tree lights. I notice now there are a couple Color Switch nodes mysteriously added  - see screenshot. I renamed the ZW 014.1 On-Off Power Switch to Xmas Tree which is the only difference I made. I don't remember seeing that Color Switch node before and was not in my original screenshot. Any idea what it is for? Also one would think there should have been a third ZW 014.1 Color Switch added but seemed to skip over it.

May have something to do with this from manual:

LED INDICATOR
How to read LED indicator colors? The LED indicators on your Double Plug will visually report power use and Z-Wave range (see next page for range test details)

No light / White = Plug is offCyan = 200 – 400 WOrange = 600 – 800 WPurple = 1000 – 1200 WBlue = 0 – 200 WGreen = 400 – 600 WRed = 800 – 1000 WPurple blink = over 1200 W

But the Color Switch nodes on my just show Amber and they are currently off when I test.

Edit... I remember other night my wife was trying to get it turned on and she may have entered test mode on the light plug trying to turn it on which may have added these nodes.
