Insteon KeypadLinc Scene Button Controls Load

Featured Replies

I have the "B buttons from three 6-button KeypadLincs in a scene with a separate light switch that controls my outside floodlights.  Pressing any one of the three "B" buttons toggles the floodlights on/off, as expected, but also toggles the load wired to the particular keypadlinc  on/off.  There are no other scenes that have any of these three keypadlincs as responders nor are there any programs that activate these loads.  Does anyone know what else I can check?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure.  I believe I purchased this from Smarthome and it appeared to be new.  I removed the button from my "Floodlight" scene and the problem persisted.  I removed all devices from the scene and deleted the scene and the problem persisted.  The floodlight does not appear as a controller or responder to anything.  Appears to be something in the KPL itself rather than an ISY issue so I'm contemplating doing a factory reset.

RESOLVED - Apparently there was an embedded link between button “B” and the On and Off buttons that control the load.  I created a temp scene with the “B” button as a controller and the KPL as the responder.  I then removed everything from the scene and deleted the scene.  This fixed the Problem on two KPLs having the same issue.

I would follow lilyoyo1's advice.
