(2856S3) Icon Appliance Adapter v.28

I have a few of these appliance adapters that can turn on sensing a local load. ISY99 does not see the updates of the status.

One is for a living room lamp and is used quite often.

Any suggestions? Is this a supported feature or can I add this manually and make the system see this a different way?

Hi gjadams,

The older ApplianceLincs and LampLincs do not send any commands when controlled locally.

The only way then to know the state is to Query the device at regular intervals.

So, newer lincs will do this? Perhaps I might sell these on the well known internet auction site and get some new ones that do send the message. I'm able to write some logic, but I'd rather it be automatic.

Can you confirm the model number and maybe even the rev of the appliancelinc and lamplinc? That would be great, but I appreciate the feedback either way!

As far as I know the ApplianceLinc does not support this feature, but LampLincs labeled v4.2 and higher (firmware v33+) do.
