Compatible smart light bulbs

I have an Insteon LED bulb that died. It looks like they don't make them any more. How do I find smart led light bulbs that are compatible with my ISY hub? It seems like all bulbs are going to WiFi. I don't think ISY supports WiFi correct? What are other ISY users doing?

Search for many threads relating to WiFi, MiLight, and Zigbee bulbs.

I am using 25 WiFi bulbs and have boxes of Hue and MiLight bulbs and hubs.

Many methods have been developed with ISY to control most types of bulbs, so.e using polyglot and some NRs.

Some bulbs require a bridge hub and some do not require any.

I have several Insteon bulbs in place, and I'll miss them when/if they die.  I don't know of any other manufacturer who's producing a compatible product.  For the best ISY connectivity, you're going to either need a Z-Wave dongle in your ISY, or you're going to need to run a Polyglot nodeserver.  For Z-Wave, there are a few choices for bulbs, such as from Aeotec.  For WiFi/Zigbee, you have several good choices if you're comfortable running a Polyglot node server.  Some well supported choices are Philips Hue, LiFX, MiLight and YeeLight (there may be others).

I have experience with Philips Hue and LiFX, and could recommend both, though for general lighting I'd probably prefer Philips as it employs a hub (Zigbee) verses being only WiFi controlled.

One thing to note about using either Z-Wave bulbs or bulbs that have a Polyglot nodeserver is that the bulbs will appear to the ISY as fully native devices, just like your Insteon bulbs.  Any bulbs that you have to control with Network Resources will not.
