I can't find my Venstar Thermostat within ilinc

Featured Replies

Hello

I set up a Venstar Thermostat on my isy 99 and its working well. However, I can't seem to find the thermostat within ilinc. Is this device supported?

Thanks

With the current release, you can trigger scenes that control the thermostat but you cannot control the thermostat directly. A new version that supports direct control of thermostats is now being beta tested.

Hi oah,

fitpatri8 is right, iLinc 2.1 is in beta right now and will support multiple thermostats from their own control page on the home screen of iLinc. My current plan is to also support programs and other minor tweaks in the next release as well.

Thanks,

Wes

I would be interested in participating in this BETA test.

I have already purchased and installed the current version.

I am very happy with it's current abilities.

Dennis :)

Hi Dennis,

Thank you for your purchase and interest in testing thermostat support!

Please email me which thermostat(s) you own and your UUID from your iPhone or touch to wes@mobileintegratedsolutions.com and I can email you a beta release of iLinc 2.1 with thermostat support.

Wes,

can I get in on the BETA test too. I got the current iLinc from app store today. I got a Venstar Commercial T2900 with a Insteon adpter on it and the remote sensors. Love iLinc so far, it works great with all my other Insteon stuff. Great program! Thanks

Hi hjbleier,

Thank you for your purchase and offer to help Beta test. Please email me your UUID to wes@mobileintegratedsolutions.com and I will send you a beta copy the next time I'm set to release the next beta version.

The UUID can be found by plugging in your iPhone or iPod touch to iTunes and selecting your device under iTunes. There you will see your serial number listed. If you click on the serial number it changes to the UUID number.

Thanks,

Wes

Nervous, type-A people like myself worry about transcribing that serial # just so. Luckily, a thoughtful app developer has smiled on people like me with a FREE app named Ad Hoc Helper. Just open the app on your iPhone or iPod Touch and it automatically opens a new mail in the mail client with your UUID in the body of the message. iTunes Link: Ad Hoc Helper.

I would also like to participate in any beta testing as well. I am currently using your Moblilinc Pro software V2.16. Plaese let me know if you still are accepting beta testers.
