stevesreed Posted January 18, 2020 Posted January 18, 2020 I could not find the answer via search, so hopefully someone here uses IP monitoring via the M1EXP though AlarmRelay or someone similar. When using the M1EXP for IP alarm monitoring, does the ISY still get alarm events and be able to arm/disarm the alarm, etc.? It seem like a silly equation, but I know you can't run ElkRP software at the same time as ISY access, so I wanted to make sure before switching to Alarm Relay.

MWareman Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 Another confirmation from me. I use Alarm Relay and IP based monitoring and the ISY gets all the events as well..Michael.
Scottmichaelj Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 As a professional installer and direct partner for Alarm Relay I can confirm it does work as well.
apostolakisl Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 I had IP based reporting with my Elk, ISY, and Alarm relay for a while. It all worked just great. I ended up going back to phone because I just couldn't get my internet rollover to cellular with failure on primary to work right. As soon as Elon gets Starlink working and I can put the antenna on my roof where no one can get to it and I feel confident in no loss of com, then I'll probably go back to IP.
