LED status on light switch doesn’t change after Alexa voice control

I’ve integrated ISY with Alexa, and they seem to work well.

One oddity, however, is that the LED status lights on a dimmer wall switch don’t change accordingly.

For example, the LED status lights don’t reach the top even when I have Alexa turn on the ceiling lights.

Is this a known issue?

It's not a bug. What's your firmware and UI? Is the switch part of a scene or program? I'd it an insteon or zwave dimmer

The SwitchLinc will go to it's preset On position when an On is sent. Set that to 100% in the devices status page or IIRC you can manually ramp the On level by using the paddle held until the light is at 100%.

Think of it as a memory of the last level it was left at. To guarantee 100% you can also use Fast On also but no ramping will happen. (instantaneous)

Firmware 4.x. UI is ISY portal.

It's an insteon dimmer, which I have Alexa switch on/off individually, not part of a scene or program.

Isy portal is not a UI. Go to help about for the specific firmware and UI

Now I get what you meant by UI. Both firmware and  UI 4.7.3.

Have a look at the SwitchLinc's status page in the admin console. See what the "On" level is set to. You can adjust this in the admin console as well as on the SwichLinc.

I do this on purpose for my bathroom lights in the night, so when I tap the paddle up they only go to 12%. If I tell Alexa to turn them on, they go to 12%.

The remembered ON level is a feature.

I also suspect it could depend on whether the “device” you added, and are now trying to control, is an individual device or a scene (or an alexa group).
