Text messages not coming from Verizon @vtext.com

For years I have gotten text updates from the ISY using the ##########@vtext.com.  Lately this is stopped working through no fault of the ISY.  Anyone figure out the issue yet?  Google on Verizon forums shows the standard Verizon incompetence to never admitting THEY broke it..

One fellow linked it to a Jan 29th Messages + update, and that moving back to just plain messages fixed it.  However I use Message + on the PC extensively and don't want to break that syncing as Verizon has done from time to time.

 

Anyone figured out a solution despite Verizon?

    clothes dryer just sent me an alert a few minutes ago and uses @vtext.com

    Not having any issues but have switched to vzwpix dot com instead. Longer message length, and displays degree symbol correctly, unlike vtext. You might want to try that.
