Displaying individual variables "as devices" (sort of like virtual devices)

Great.  Was confused by this statement on the configuration page.  (made is sound like state variables could be used)

"There are 3 kinds of virtual devices, switch, dimmer and temperature. You do not need to have a state variable for each entry."

I read through this entire thread and saw a couple of comments on adding a "energy" type to facilitate using variables from a Brultech Gem / DB.  I installed the NS and dont see that option.  Is it  still on the roadmap ??

Probably, got very busy with other projects. The "energy" part would be a separate ns because of the complexity. Planning to setup Brultech when time permits.
