Larger installation

I am tasked with automating two buildings (1 floor & 2 floors) with 190+ light switches, 25 HVAC thermostats, 8 ceiling fans and using door and motion sensors. 

1. How many devices can one ISY944i support?
2. Can 2 coexist on the same wiring? 

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The PLM is also 60 cycles only. So if you are on 240VAC 50 Cycles. It would not work  on both counts.

You may also be in a country where the Insteon RF frequency of 915 MHz would not be correct for your countries allowed RF frequency.

You would be better served going with a smart service panel. This assumes your region is supported by the various makers. Going this route negates RF issues as the bulk of them connect via WiFi / Ethernet.

Lastly, you will never have to worry about communication issues as the system is managed by the service panel!
