zoli Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Hi, I've just started to use the ISY in my home and others for home automation for Jewish holidays. On the sabbath and holidays, lights cannot be turned on or off, but a lot of people still want to save money by turning off the lights at night. This is where the automation comes in. My question is- is there a way to integrate a calendar into the ISY? There are many jewish holidays throughout the year and it would be great if I didn't have to go in each week and set the system up... Can I just import a list of dates for a specific program to run? Also, because electronics and the like can't be used, if you bump into a switch, you're screwed. Is there a way to disable a switch for a certain period of time? What I've been doing is just sending an on command every hour for the whole holiday or sabbath. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!
